The Human Nutrition and Food Science Department office is located in building 7 room 110.

  • Dr. Martin Sancho-Madriz is the Department Chair as well as Food Science & Technology Director

  • Dr. Lisa Kessler is the Director of the Didactic program in Dietetics

Foods & Nutrition Forum

FN Forum is to provide an  atmosphere of support to current students and graduates, to the college  of agriculture and to the university and professional associations by  reaching out through a variety of internal and external activities

Phi Upsilon Omicron

PHI U is a national honor society in family and consumer sciences with over 80,000 members. It was founded in 1910 with the mission of providing an environment empowering lifelong learning, leadership, building, ethical, and scholastic excellence.

Food Science Society

FSS is a student organization to promote and inform students in all food science-related areas of available resources. It is a student chapter at the Institute of Food Technologist Student Association (IFTSA), which gives students professional development through networking opportunities, training, competitions, scholarship, and awards.
