Sunrise Smoothie

As you enjoy warmer weather this spring and with summer just around the corner, start your day bright with a Sunrise Smoothie.  Grab this season’s sweetest strawberries and make yourself a refreshing, nutritious treat in just minutes…

Sunrise Smoothie

Yields 3-4 servings

Ingredients:

1 banana, peeled, sliced

2 cups strawberries (10-12 pcs), washed, stems removed, cut in half

1 cup orange juice, freshly squeezed (1-2 oranges)

1/2 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt

2 tbsp honey

2 cups crushed ice

What you need:

Blender

Cutting Board

Knife

Directions:

Place fruit, orange juice, yogurt, honey and ice in blender.  Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
