As future dietitians, we encourage people to always read labels. With the failure of Prop 37, I thought it would be interesting to research some popular labels and get the facts about them. The upcoming posts from my segment-National Nourishment-will focus on one or two labels at a time. Now, I know our job is to promote health, but these posts will include information that looks at food more holistically, not just based on nutrient density.
